SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE LOS ANGELES is pleased to host an exhibition by American artist Jeremy Shockley, curated by Anthony Vaccarello.

Jeremy Shockley considers painting as a form of storytelling. Influenced by the literary techniques of magical realist writers, he renders the impossible and the surreal in a matter-of-fact way.

The selection includes paintings that were made over the last year, except for The Sunsetter that was the artist’s first larger scale painting in almost a decade, as well as the first large buddy or face painting. The Sunsetter serves as a starting point for the rest of the paintings being shown.

Jeremy Shockley’s The Sunsetter was exhibited at Spring/Break Art Show, which lead to a show of large scale works at Danny First’s THE BUNKER in Los Angeles and a solo show with The Hole in New York City.

A selection of ten paintings will be available for sale in the Saint Laurent Rive Droite store in Los Angeles. A t-shirt, totebags, and postcards will also be available for sale.
