Yet the man who started out as an engineer and was trained at the prestigious french college of Ponts-et-Chaussées has left a clear imprint that extends far beyond design.
From fashion to furniture to automobiles, Quasar Khanh's resolutely modernist vision brought a breath of fresh air to the 60s and 70s. Creative and pragmatic, he was at once a mathematician, engineer, designer and artist.
