THE SO-CALLED “AGEC LAW” IS THE LAW N°2020-105, ESTABLISHED TO PREVENT WASTE AND TO BUILD A CIRCULAR ECONOMY, WITH FIVE MAIN PURPOSES:

  • TO BETTER INFORM CONSUMERS
  • TO PREVENT WASTE AND TO ENCOURAGE REUSE
  • TO PREVENT OBSOLESCENCE
  • TO BETTER PRODUCTION


  • - ARTICLE 13 OF THE AGEC LAW CREATED ARTICLE L. 541-9-1 OF THE FRENCH ENVIRONMENT CODE. IT PROVIDES DIFFERENT MEASURES AVAILABLE TO THE CONSUMERS SUCH AS THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF PRODUCTS AND PACKAGING.
