Saint Laurent Editions presents Love Letters.
This unique book, with its unexpected format and minimalist design, celebrates a literary genre emblematic of the English-speaking world: the love letter.
This February, Anthony Vaccarello has envisioned an object infused with humor—both surprising and elegant. From Sid Vicious to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Bonnie and Clyde, Love Letters explores the many facets of love. Fiery desires or unfulfilled passions, platonic or all-consuming love—twenty-one letters, drawn from literary classics as well as iconic romances of pop culture, unfold throughout the pages. Each one is carefully tucked inside its own envelope. At the heart of the book, a blank envelope allows the owner to insert a letter of their choice. A second, detachable envelope is meant to be sent to a loved one.
With Love Letters, Saint Laurent Editions explores emotions through words and romantic correspondence—sometimes candid, occasionally raw, and always disarming in their sincerity.
