SAINT LAURENT BABYLONE presents a selection of paintings by Idir Davaine, curated by Anthony Vaccarello, on view from September 30th to November 2nd.
Born in 1990, Idir Davaine lives and works in Paris. As a visual artist, he focuses on abstract landscapes composed of bold color blocks, covering his canvases with suggestive and fluid forms.
A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2017, he relies on photography as an essential tool for capturing moments of his everyday life and environment, which he later reinterprets in his acrylic and oil paintings.
By exploring line, form, and color, Idir deconstructs and rearranges elements of mountains, forests, and natural landscapes, creating abstract scenes that are dynamic and vibrant with color. The artist continually enriches his visual universe by drawing inspiration from nature and his observations of reality.
All exhibited paintings at SAINT LAURENT BABYLONE will be available for sale.
Represented by Galerie Ketabi Bourdet, Paris.
