The natural patterns of snakeskin can vary slightly both in shape and colour. Scales can vary in appearance due to the size of the animal and the tanning and finishing processes we use. Slightly uneven leather fabrics are not to be considered defects but a guarantee of the authenticity of the material and workmanship. As in nature, no two leather materials are entirely alike in colour or texture. These qualities render each product truly unique.
To maintain the value and appearance of your goods, we recommend observing the following guidelines:
- Avoid contact with water, oily substances, perfumes, make-up and other liquid, alcoholic or fatty substances.
- Avoid using generic cleaning products such as shoe polish, trichlorethylene, oils, stain removers, alcohol and solvents.
- Avoid contact with rough or abrasive surfaces.
- Avoid allowing light-coloured products to come into contact with dark or brightly coloured clothing and vice versa. Colours may transfer from one object to another.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to light, direct heat and humidity. Materials may be damaged, and their appearance altered.
- In case of contact with water, gently pat the area to absorb moisture with a soft, neutral-coloured cloth. Avoid excessive rubbing.
- We do not recommend storing this item in plastic or nylon packaging, as contact
with these materials could visibly mattify the product’s surface.
- Store the product upright in its protective flannel bag. We recommend padding your bag with tissue paper to maintain its shape.
