Saint Laurent announced as official partner of Frieze Seoul, one of the world's leading art fairs, held for the first time in Asia at COEX, Seoul from September 2nd. Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello has already been working with artists on stage installations and window displays, redrawing the boundaries between fashion and pure art.

To celebrate this special partnership, Saint Laurent unveils a new work in collaboration with Korean contemporary artist Lee Bae, known as the artist of charcoal. The artist will be presenting a new work for Saint Laurent, which will be on exhibit at the Saint Laurent space in Frieze Seoul from September 2nd to 5th and at the Saint Laurent Seoul flagship store from August 31st prior to the opening of the Frieze.

The artist lives and works between Paris, France and his hometown Cheongdo in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. His distinctive abstract aesthetics can be found in his monochrome paintings using charcoal, including the ‘Brushstroke’ series, and sculptures.
